ACTIVITY
The Vascular Surgery Unit carries out the following activity:
ARTERIAL PATHOLOGY
- Carotid and supra-aortic trunks (SAT) pathology
- Thoracic aorta and thoracoabdominal pathology
- Abdominal aorta and iliac compartment pathology
- Lower limb pathology
In all surgeries particular attention is paid to the concept of minimally invasiveness both and above all for a faster functional recovery but also for a better aesthetic impact of surgical treatment. The minimally invasiveness results in:
- the smallest possible surgical incisions
- endovascular treatments or in combination with traditional surgery
VENOUS PATHOLOGY
MEDULLARY NEUROSTIMULATION
The medullary neurostimulation is a branch of vascular surgery dedicated mainly to the treatment of pain and other secondary disorders, arterial insufficiency of lower limbs not subjected to conventional reconstructive surgery or some vasospastic forms of the limbs.
