NEUROLOGY CLINIC

Clinic with physicians in rotation (the choice of specialist is not allowed) that provides first level neurological specialized examinations. It is possible to access this kind of examination for any neurological problem with the authorization under Italian Healthcare System. The priority is regulated by the prescribing physician. The issue of examination report is immediate.

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AND DEMYELINATING DISEASES CLINIC 

Veneto Region accredited Center for prescription of front-line immunomodulating therapies, the clinic deals with, under admission system, the diagnostic framework of multiple sclerosis and differential diagnosis with other demyelinating diseases (rachicentesis, neuroimaging, study of Visual Evoked Potentials VEPs, Somatosensory Evoked Potentials SEPs, Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potentials BAEPs) as well as acute phase therapy both for inpatients and external patients in charge of center. The issue of examination report is iimmediate.

HEADACHES AND CRANIOFACIAL PAINS CLINIC

Center dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of headaches according to the IHS (International Headache Society), EHF (European Headache Federation) and SISC (Società Italiana Studio Cefalee – Italian Headache Study Society) guidelines. The diagnosis is made on the basis of ICHD-III International Classification Headache Disorders. In case of finding of chronic headache with drug abuse the ordinary admission for deaddiction and detoxification is scheduled. The issue of medical examination is immediate.

AMBULATORIO MALATTIE NEUROMUSCOLARI E SLA

Prende in carico per diagnosi, cura e follow up pazienti con malattie neuromuscolari (SLA, miopatia, poliradicolonevriti, miastenia, polineuropatie) sia in ambito di degenza che a livello ambulatoriale.

AMBULATORIO MALATTIA DI PARKINSON E DISTURBI DEL MOVIMENTO

Ambulatorio dedicato alla Diagnosi, presa in cura e Follow-up del paziente con Malattia di Parkinson, Distonia, Corea, Tremore e altri disturbi del movimento. Gestione delle fasi avanzate della malattia. Il rilascio del referto di visita è immediato.

AMBULATORIO DIAGNOSI E CURA DELL’EPILESSIA

L’ambulatorio si occupa della diagnosi e della cura dell’epilessia nell’adulto (età> 16 anni) con attività prevalentemente svolta in regime ambulatoriale e, in casi particolari, anche in degenza ospedaliera. Le attività svolte sono: elettroencegalografia (EEG) sia standard che in siesta dopo privazione di sonno, gestione terapeutica e follow up del paziente sia dal punto di vista clinico che laboratoristico-strumentale.
Nell’ambito ospedaliero offre consulenza e monitoraggio EEG per i pazienti degenti presso l’Unità Gravi Cerebro-Lesioni (Riabilitazione Intensiva UGC), Stati Vegetativi Permanenti e Terapia Intensiva (con postazioni EEG e Potenziali evocati in loco gestiti dal personale tecnico e medico della Neurologia

SERVIZIO DI NEUROFISIOLOGIA

Il Servizio fornisce la propria attività sia in regime ambulatoriale che per i degenti presso le strutture della Cittadella della Carità. Il Servizio è dotato di 5 punti di registrazione in rete dislocati nei vari edifici (Neurologia – Ambulatorio per i disturbi del sonno – UGC – Piano Terra Ospedale Don Calabria – Terapia intensiva – Centro Stati Vegetativi). Ogni punto di registrazione è autonomo per l’esecuzione di EEG, EMG, Potenziali evocati e Stimolazione Magnetica.
