MULTIDISCIPLINARY ONCOLOGY GROUPS (G.O.M.)

The multidisciplinary management of patients is carried out inside the Multidisciplinary Oncology Groups (GOM) where there are specialist figures involved in diagnosis, treatment, care and undertaking of patients: radiologist, pathologist-anatomist. surgeon, oncologist, radiotherapist, psychologist. Other professionals may be involved in particular situations, where their presence is necessary.

The meeting, divided according to the tumor pathology, are coordinated by an oncologist, pathology referent.
