The outpatient clinic aims to allow cancer patient the maintenance and achievement of a proper body weight through a suitable nutritional intake: indeed, a normal weight is important for cancer patient in any phase of disease: before surgery, during anticancer treatments (better tolerance of side effects), after anticancer treatments (reduction of cancer recurrence risk) and during the palliative cares (reduction of phychophysical deterioration).

In patients with colorectal and initial breast carcinoma, the maintenance/achievement of normal weight and moderate physical activity may reduce the risk of disease recurrence.

Every examination is followed by a phsycho-educational dietological interview at the Psycho-Oncology Service.
