Activity

This activity allows to manage all the problems by a correct administration of antitumoral drugs and antalgic/nutritional support for patients with superficial venous accesses problems. The assessment of peripheral venous inheritance is carried out by nursing staff and physicians, and the choice of positioning central venous catheters (CVC) is also made on the basis of treatment course planned for any patient.

The oncologic Day Hospital (on outpatient procedure) or ordinary hospitalization activity is also available for external patients (outpatient) through direct contact of home care head physician.

Since April 2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic, all patients before positioning/removing CVC undergo a SARS-COV2 nasal-or-pharyngeal swab and must be negative.
