BEDS
The department is equipped with 17 beds, ten of which capable of continuous electrocardiographic monitoring, that may be used as high dependent therapy unit beds. The rooms are all equipped with bathroom and television. The patients clinically more instable are admitted in Intensive Care Unit – with 4 beds – and are treated jointly by cardiologists and anesthesiologists. Once the patients’ clinical conditions are stable and safe they will be transferred to the Cardiology ward for the rest of admission/care.
