Head: Dr Paolo Tamellini
Specialists: Dr Paolo Tamellini, Dr Andrea Recchia
The phlebological surgery deals with the treatment of lower limb venous diseases, both superficial circle (varices) and deep circle (DVT or deep vein thrombosis and post-thrombotic syndrome).
At the Phlebological Surgery Unit these clinical conditions are managed – in accordance with current scientific evidence and latest guidelines – on outpatient basis and with minimally invasive treatments. These aspects have a lower impact on patient’s activities and personal, family and professional occupations, a lower cost (both for the Hospital and for the patient) and a higher patient satisfaction.
