SURGICAL ACTIVITY
The surgical activity is carried out for 35 hours per week in the modern centralized surgical unit, inaugurated in 2001, within which an Intensive Care Unit is integrated.
Our team is provided with the most sophisticated surgical equipment (microcamera, CO2 laser, operating microscope, ultrasonic scalpel, radiofrequency scalpel, microdebrider, AIDA (Artificial Intelligence for Document Automation) videodocumentation system, computerized NIMS (Nerve Integrity Monitor System) for intraoperating monitoring of nervous structures…..) allowing us to tackle in maximum safety all Otorhinolaryngoloy surgery scope with the most minimally invasive procedures.

OUTPATIENT ACTIVITY
The outpatient services are provided under agreement system after booking from Monday to Friday.
All booking can be made at the Unified Booking Center (CUP).

Specialized examinations are performed with possibility to carry out first level audiologic diagnostics during the same session and postoperative check-up examinations.

Diagnostic and preoperative otoscopies with microscopy, and medications.
Oncologic Clinic
Check-up examinations for patients already treated and those sent by specialist physicians with specific diagnosis.
Tear Ducts Clinic (in collaboration with Ophthalmology Department)

· In-depth specialist tests (otomicroscopy, endoscopic tests): 20 days
· Examinations for cancer patients: 7 days
· First level audiologic diagnostics (audio-impedenzometer test): 7 days
· Second level audiologic diagnostics (ABR, OAE Otoacoustic Emissions, vestibular test, speech audiometry): 15 days
· Routine surgeries: 8 months
· Parotid surgeries: 12 months
